
PAIRPOINT CONTROL BUBBLE AND SILVER-PLATE DOUBLE-ARM CANDLESTICK WITH ASSORTED PATTERNED PEG LAMP FONTS, silver-plated stepped arms terminating in a single socket, one socket impressed to the underside "PAIRPOINT / D6139", sockets with acanthus leaf ornamentation and drip catchers, candlestick is mounted to a colorless controlled bubble stem and cobalt blue foot. Each socket fitted with a peg-lamp font comprising of an emerald green Honeycomb optic example and a colorless pressed elongated diamond patterned example, each with a period collar. Each fitted with a period slip burner and a colorless slip chimney. Fourth quarter 19th century. 13 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 5/8" D foot.

Lamp undamaged and sockets with some expected wear, colorless font fits insecurely. One burner with some minute denting, remaining burner with some solder repairs to the base and denting/roughness to the wick tube, chimneys undamaged.
