This collection includes 20 printed Chrome era postcards, a spiral-bound photo booklet, and a souvenir menu from Florida's historic Cypress Gardens. Spanning 1950 to 1972, the items feature publishers like Florida Natural Color, Inc. and Tichnor Bros., documenting mid-century Florida tourism through views of the water ski shows, the Singing Tower (Bok Tower), and the Cypress Gardens Sheraton Motor Inn. The souvenir menu is explicitly dated 1950--SOUVENIR MENU--1951 and transcribes typical Southern fare prices, such as Southern Fried Chicken for $1.75, for the Cypress Gardens Dining Room. One postcard is postmarked to Bethesda, MD, with a 3-cent Liberty stamp, while others bear handwritten dates from July 1972. Dimensions: Postcards 3.5 x 5.5 inches; Menu 8.5 x 11 inches; Booklet 3 x 4.5 inches.
