
This collection features 10 printed color postcards and two accordion-style souvenir folders documenting the Lackawanna Trail between Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Binghamton, New York. Produced circa 1921�1925 by the Scranton News Co. and Stroudsburg Glass Co., the items highlight the "most scenic highway in the world" shortly after its 1921 dedication. Featured locations include the Tunkhannock Viaduct (Nicholson Bridge), Elmhurst Reservoir, Tannersville, and McMichael's Falls in Stroudsburg. One card includes a 1924 Scranton postmark and a handwritten message from "Angelie" to a recipient in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. Postcards 3.5 x 5.5 inches; Folders 4.25 x 6 inches.
