
This collection of approximately 18 printed postcards documents the history and tourism of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and the Delaware Water Gap from 1905 through the 1970s. Notable items include early 1900s Detroit Publishing Company Phostint cards of the Scenic Railway, mid-century linen views of the Beaver House and Hotel Fulmer, and 1960s chrome cards of the Penn Stroud Hilton Inn. One card features a 1939 postmark with a message stating safe well I had that boil lanced today, while others showcase the 1965 Monroe County Sesquicentennial and the historic 1795 Stroud Mansion.
