Description

This collection of vintage paper ephemera comprises an assortment of poster stamps issued by the US and State Forest Services and the Canadian Forestry Association. The lot includes multiple blocks of 4 (2x2) and various multiples featuring Smokey Bear and conservation themes from 1943 and subsequent decades. Printing methods include multicolored lithography on both perforated and imperforated paper stocks without postal denominations. Items from the Canadian Forestry Association are specifically dated 1943 and originate from Montreal, Canada.
