Vintage brass pierced skimmers set of three, long handled French country kitchen wall decor
A group of three long-handled pierced brass skimmers/strainers, also called écumoires, in graduated sizes. Once used for lifting food from boiling water or frying fat, they now read as strong French / “country kitchen†wall décor.
18"H x 7.25"W, 16.75 x 7, 14"H x 6"W, heavy tarnish, in good condition minor wear and scratches.
Based on the cutwork “flower†pattern and simple riveted construction, these appear to be 20th-century European-look decorative/functional pieces rather than earlier chef’s tools. Sold as a matched set of three for maximum visual impact on the wall.
