Description
Vintage Italian Round Tray Florentine-style round tray in molded plastic with a green and gold finish, stamped “Made in Italy†on the back. A lightweight decorative piece that works nicely on a vanity, dresser, or bar cart.
These plastic “Florentine-style†trays were part of the mid–late 20th century Italian export trade, designed to give the look of traditional gilt Florentine décor in a lighter, more affordable material. This one has the classic scalloped rim and floral center, with a color palette that reads Hollywood Regency and mid century at the same time.

Origin: Stamped “Made in Italy†on the underside

Condition
Vintage condition with normal surface wear and marks consistent with age and use.
Front shows some finish wear and toning, especially along the rim and high points of the design.
Back shows scuffs and mottling to the finish; there is a whitish area around the stamp that appears to be old residue or wear.
No cracks or structural damage are visible in the photos, but the tray has not been inspected in person by a conservator.
