Cal. 58. NSN. 48.5" overall, 33" barrel with adjustable rear sight, "pinched" front sight, iron mounted 1855 Harper's Ferry stock with tool box, original rifle swell ramrod. Nicely carved soldier's initials "EJS" opposite lock. The scarce high hump lock is dated "1862" & stamped "C.S. / RICHMOND, VA". CONDITION: good overall with restored rear sling swivel, rear band spring, lock screw, & front sight. Stock is broken and pieced under rear band with nailed repair, mechanics fine, good rifled bore.
