Description
A group of assorted vintage and antique decorative and functional objects. The lot is heterogeneous, comprising domestic items, ephemera, and collectables. Key items include a rectangular black Toleware tray featuring a hand-painted central design of fruit in a bowl, exhibiting significant surface wear. Also present is an aged, painted wood duck decoy with blue, green, and yellow accents. A centrally positioned oval-framed black-and-white photographic portrait of child is set within an ornate gilt wood frame. Further framed items include small black-framed paper silhouettes, one depicting a male profile and the other a crowned female profile. Functional objects include a carved wooden wall-mounted thermometer, a hinged wooden frame containing small mirrors, a wire stocking hanger, and a group of silver-plated serving utensils (including ladles and spoons), and a metal grater. Ephemera and textile items consist of modern beaded panda coin purses (one pink, one red), antique needle cards/packets, one noted as containing "Superior Art Work Needles," and a small knitted item. The collection is completed by large brass safety pins marked '125' and '240', glass bottle, small glass shaker, and various small metal fragments and decorative pieces.
