Cased American Made Nautical Dry Compass, signed Marine Compass Co., Pembroke, Mass., U.S.A. Mfg., in original hardwood case with dovetailed corners. Marine Compass Co. bought E.S Ritchie & Sons in 1951 and has operated under the Ritchie name since that time.

Case: 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. (14 x 19.1 x 19.1 cm.), housing: 2 1/2 x 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 in. (6.4 x 15.9 x 15.9 cm.)
