A three-piece collection of ceramic vessels attributed to McCoy, consistent with the style of their novelty planters or cachepots. The set includes one rectangular centerpiece vessel and two smaller, irregularly shaped cylindrical planters. All items are constructed from buff or cream-colored earthenware and feature a high-gloss emerald green glaze designed to emphasize deeply textured relief surfaces resembling stylized foliage and tree stumps. The items are suitable for use as bowls or vases (planters). The larger of the two smaller planters features impressed capital lettering reading STUY situated above a heart motif. The unglazed bases bear red handwritten inventory marks, including MA and partial numerals such as 573. Measurement is for largest item.
