Hollywood Regency Oversized Carved Wood Tortoise

Description

A large oversized Hollywood Regency inspired hand carved wooden turtle with a patterned shell and incised surface details. The hollow body features an interior storage compartment accessed by lifting the detachable upper shell. No visible or apparent maker's marks.

Dimensions: 18 X 39.5 X 26 in.

Condition: Good to fair overall condition with age related surface wear, having crack lines and old restorations around. Retains it's original patina.
