Two Redfield Rifle Scopes

Description

Two vintage rifle scopes manufactured by the Redfield Gunsight Co. The first is a 2X-7X variable power model constructed of metal with a black finish. It is marked Redfield on the adjustment turret housing and is fitted with a pair of Weaver mounting rings. This model features a standard circular sight picture with a crosshair reticle. The second is a Widefield model, also of metal construction with a black finish. It is characterized by a rectangular TV screen style eyepiece and sight picture. Markings on the ocular bell indicate it was made in the U.S.A. by the Redfield Gunsight Co.

Condition

Both items exhibit signs of wear consistent with field use, including surface scratches, scuffs, and finish loss to the black exterior. Internal inspection reveals hazing and dust within the lenses. The reticles in both units remain clearly visible.
