Description: Thomasville Dining Room Set featuring 8 high back chairs with matching marble table. Each chair features a tall 50" back with tarped wood accents, a white finish, and a woven wicker seat with a removable blue velvet seat cushion. The oval-shaped dining table features a black Italian Portoro Nero marble top with a cast iron beige enameled cast iron base. This exquisite tabletop features crystalline black marble with spectacular bursts of orange veins amidst gray globules and thin white filaments meandering around hazy white effervescences. Most likely, it's made from Portoro, also known as Portoro Nero, a stone of Italian origin. The solid cast iron base is more than capable of supporting this showpiece slab. A great transitional piece for any 1970s or mid-century setting. All originals are in excellent condition.
