Description

Canadian. Wood. A pine shoefoot chair table in original paint, red over blue-green, and with a large three-board oval top. Great condition, pegged construction, simple form with a storage compartment under the plank seat. The top is refinished and retains remnants of the red/blue paint along the edge. The pivot dowel is replaced. Quebec, C. 1830. 28.5" x 59.5" x 43". From the Ron Van Horne and Scott Ferguson Collection. Canadian.
