James M. Cromwell 1865 patent Automatic Dancers clockwork toy. Chromolithograph paper over wood with mirrors, retaining original paper label. Two carved and painted wooden dancer figures hang from wire. Copy of patent paperwork included.

Working. Losses to paper surface. Tape reinforcing top hinge. Wire for dancers likely replaced.
