This marvelous antique Art Nouveau French hand painted vase is created in gorgeous red enamel on bronze. This beautiful miniature vase with a flared neck and bulbous bottom depicts a Renaissance maiden portraiture with long brown hair and a copper and silver bonnet atop her head with a dangling red and green star and a blue dress. The surface reflects iridescence with a twisting vine encircling this exquisite vase and is signed "M. Corus." The style and technique is similar to those vases produced by Limoges. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=2-3/4 inches, Diameter at widest=2 inches, Depth=1-1/4 inches. This marvelous painted enamel on bronze has been well cared for, gently displayed and is in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks, repairs or other imperfections. The under bottom surface has light scratching from metal testing, but they do not diminish the beauty of this lovely vase.
