This is a beautiful bombe commode, in the French Louis XV style. The details are amazing, starting with the detailing on the marquetry, the floral design throughout and the ormolu on the sides and legs. It has a creamy white marble top, which is simple and elegant. The line across the marble is a design of the actual marble and detaches from the rest of the piece. The deep drawers provide ample room for storage and have an ornamental lock for added security. This piece is very well taken care of and in excellent condition. It came from Spain in the 1960s and has lived in Miami ever since. Where will it go next? Perfect for an entrance, foyer, dining room, living room or bedroom.
