Fine antique Japanese Watercolor painting of a Woman carrying Mt Fuji on a Tray. Her beautiful traditional kimono and obi are decorated with gold leaf. Signature of artist was left out during framing, most likely because this painting was originally a tall scroll painting. Amazing details. Superb quality of artwork. Watercolor on silk. Matted. Painted gold wood frame. Covered with glass. Paper and metal hanger on back. Japan, Late Meiji to early Showa Era, circa 1900-1920s. Excellent condition - minor age wear overall, repair of paper back.
