This is a collectible ceramic restaurant ashtray from the 1950s 60s.
This was from Amelio's Restaurant 1630 Powell St in San Francisco California.
Made by Syracuse Ware in San Francisco California.
From the 1940s to the 1990's Amelio's was one of San Francisco's oldest fine dining establishments and epitomized the San Francisco restaurant scene.
