An Indonesian antique wooden blanket chest from the early 20th century, with red lacquered interior lid, lateral handles and bracket feet. Born in Indonesia during the early years of the 20th century, this charming blanket chest features a linear silhouette beautifully accented with dovetailed joints on the sides. The lid opens to reveal a convenient storage area with side box, but it is the lid's red and black lacquered decor that attracts our attention with its floral motifs. Raised on bracket feet and presenting side handles, this Indonesian wooden blanket chest will be a great decorative addition to any bedroom or living room.
