This large brass planter was made in Italy in the mid 20th century. The round base is decorated with a hammered finish and repousse buttons. The top is cinched with rope trim and the flared rim has rope trim also. The hammered finish actually resembles an alligator or crocodile pattern"¦ very unique.
The opening for a plant measures 10".
