Stunning vintage Japanese 4-panel folding screen (byobu), depicting landscape scenes of Four Seasons. Signed and sealed by artist. Gouache, watercolor and ink on silk over gold paper. Silk brocade border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved metal corners, showing age patina. Paper and two labels on back. Very good condition - minor age wear overall, no damage to the paintings, water stain on silk border on the lower side of 1st and 2nd panels, few rips on paper back, strong hinges, clean, sturdy. Japan, ShÅwa era, circa 1960s.
