Erte' was an artist best known for his paintings of glamours 1920/30s Art Deco models. He was unique in his approach to painting these girls in glamorous feathery, chiffon, elegant gowns that displayed these models in unusual poses either reclining on sofas in outrageous gowns or in this case swan like necks and her head dresses with scanty knee length flapper dresses. He is the most admired of the painters who work with Art Deco models in flowing artistically created gowns or fabulous head gear I got this piece in a private deal with a dealer in Los Angeles.
