This antique, 19th-century French turquoise, robin's egg, or "Sevres" blue opaline glass table lamp with swag and foliate hand-painted gold gilt, surpasses most of its kind. The detail in the hand painted design is remarkable in its condition and variety of colors. Originally an oil lamp from the mid- to late 19th-century; rewired early 20th-century for a 110v bulb socket with a decorative silk shade. and in very good working condition for its age, I think you will agree this is one of a kind.
