This fabulous vintage South East Asia elephant shaped box is created in gorgeous .500 fine silver. This marvelous standing elephant has all the trappings of the Royal Elephant who symbolizes wisdom and royalty. His trunk is in the up position which symbolizes good luck. This beautiful elephant has two significant tusks, a saddle, ears flattened against his back and tail, all with intricate detail. The elephant opens into two halves to store your treasures. There are no hallmarks on this charming piece. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from tusks to back=3-1/4 inches, Height from trunk to feet=3-1/4 inches, Width from side to side=2 inches. This marvelous elephant box has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition. There are some tarnish marks that may come out with a polishing. It is the perfect addition to your South East Asia elephant collection, particularly if you want good luck!
