Belgian Percussion 44 Caliber Muff Pistol

Description

Made in Belgium circa 1850. Gun has 2" rifled 44 caliber octagon "screw" type removeable barrel for reloading with no sight. Liege proofmarked box lock percussion action with single steel trigger control and steel triggerguard and one piece varnished plain hardwood grip. CALIBER/GA: 44. S/N: nsn. FFL: Antique.

GOOD - metal turning a silvery patina. Pitted bore with visible rifling and crisp mechanics.
