Vintage Sterling Southwestern Turquoise Petite Point Ring, Marie Basselente, Sz. 6.75. Marie Basselente is/was a Zuni silver jewelry artist from what I could find. I found things dating her as far back as 1940's but couldn't confirm it as well as pieces being made in the 1950's-1970's. This has a center oval stone that is appx. 9.5mm by 6mm. It has twelve turquiose stones around the oval stone with a rope accent around the center stone. All stones are sawtooth bezel set. There are beaded accents set between the small stones on the outer edge. The top of the ring is appx. 1" long down the finger and 7/8" across the finger. It has a split V band at the upper shoulds that is appx. 8.5mm wide and tapers to 2mm at the back of the finger. The weight of the ring is appx. 3.73 testing as sterling. It is signed with the Basselente name. It does have the look and design of a mid 1990's piece. Very good condition. Many of her ring that I found like this are upwards of $200 across many venues. Very good condition and great attention to detail - the turquoise is set in the settings and no spaces or gaps within the bezel, etc. (EB102523.2X5 SS10755 J LD 5/31/23).
