Ted Harrison "Over the Waves"

Description

A move to the Yukon inspired Ted Harrison (1926 - 2015) to unleash the palette he used to interpret the north, its landscapes and its people. "Over the Waves" is a bold example of his style, filled with movement and colour. Beneath a spectacular sky, a fisherman casts a line into the wavy waters that toss about a nearby schooner, while a whale meanders prominently in the foreground.

Condition

Excellent condition. Paint retains strong, vibrant colour. Canvas is tight with one minor impression in the upper half center.
