Description

Gilt bronze, size 7 1/2. 3.7mm rounded face band stepped and angled at the shoulders which archaeologists identify as Guiraud type 3. shoulders. Rectangular stepped pyramidal bezel superficially imitating a gemstone and blatantly advertises the intentions of the wearer. Roman prostitutes were typically adolescents, largely slaves. Prostitution was practiced openly with brothels sometimes sharing doors with libraries. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Exceptionally elaborate for these.
