
Description
Forged iron, just over 2 7/8" height. Inverted truncated pyramidal form over an elongated pyramidal spike. Used to straighten sword blades damaged in battle. The spike was driven into a log or tree and the blade edge hammered against the face. Considerable effects of use in its working life.
