9th century, Cambridgeshire England. Size 2 1/4 for the small finger as was the custom. Bronze, with a flat face and of 2.8mm width with a central decorative stipple band. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
