A set of eight antique English Cabinet plates with hand-painted landscapes scenes and pierced work. The dessert plates with gilt trim each have a a different scene.

The white background features acanthus style swirls in a warm grayish-green highlighted with gilt. Four different flowers are painted around the edge of the plate in colors which blend with the landscape scenes. The plates appear to have been displayed and seldom used.

Decorated in the style of plates done by Ridgway and several other well known makers of the same time period. One plate has been signed and two plates have pattern numbers.
