Description
Rare mid-century modern backgammon set designed by American pop artist George Ortman
Set was made by Danish design company Georg Jensen in 1969 as part of Art in America magazine's "Art for Everyday Living" series and showcased in its Nov/Dec issue (see photo)

Board measures 24" in length, 20" in width, and 1/5" in height; each counter is 1 1/2" in diameter and 1/5" in height
Signs of wear include light scuffs to board, 1/4" damage to one corner (see photo), age-related toning to dice, and wear to original box; excellent vintage condition, B+ grade
