Ignazio Curion is known for his 19th century master miniature renditions of paintings from the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries. In an elaborate gilt wood frame and under glass.

Condition: Original Condition Unaltered; Some Imperfections; Antique and pre-owned with shelf wear consistent with age and history. painting framed in gilt gesso and wood, and under glass; painting is in wonderful condition, with the wear to the edges hidden below frame-- as seen in the photos of the painting taken when we removed it from the frame. The frame itself has strips of gilt gesso lost, as seen in the photographs. The frame is old and the gesso is crumbly.
