Believed to have been made by Hickory Chair, this table has no manufacturer's marks or tags. Crafted in solid mahogany, it features a dark reddish brown finish with a soft glow. The table top measures 26" round with all three leaves raised. With all three leaves lowered, the triangular shape is approximately 21" on each long side. Lower only one leaf or two to create various shapes to fit against a wall or slip compactly between a pair of chairs. Three cabriole legs with pad feet support the table top. Purchased in a high-end Hudson Vally NY furniture gallery in the 1990s, this conversation piece was used in the formal living room of a large estate.


Condition: Original Condition Unaltered; Some Imperfections; Structurally sound and very clean. All 3 leaves raise and lower smoothly on metal hinges. The finish is in overall very good condition. Various scuffs and other wear marks consistent with age and regular household use. In addition there are two marks on the top that are conspicuous from certain angles. See photos.
