A lovey vintage cranberry glass bottle
Most likely a bedside water decanter or carafe, since we found similar accompanied by a tumbler, meant too stay upside on top, instead of a stopper
Inverted thumbprint pattern (the thumbprint would be felt on the inside
This pattern was copied by different glass makers all the way from the late 1800's. so it is hard to attribute without further research.
It could be perfectly used as a small liquor or wine decanter or just a bud vase
