Vintage Folk Art Metal Soda Cap + Wood Table, Circa 1970s. Folk art sculpture meets function: this small table is formed from a wood base with applied metal soda bottle caps. Based on the brand logos on each cap, we can date this piece to the 1970s. Caps include soda brands like Pepsi, Crush, and Snow White Cream Soda. The caps cover the entire surface of the piece; including the central arched handle, corner details on the top and base as well as the feet (formed from stacked caps). Originally created as a smoking stand but can be used as a small side table.
