This collection consists of approximately 45-50 printed vintage greeting cards, primarily for Christmas and New Year, dating from 1933 to 1943. The cards feature diverse mid-century illustrations such as winter landscapes and whimsical animals, with many including original postmarked envelopes from Easton, Stroudsburg, and Bartonsville, Pennsylvania, as well as Camden, New Jersey, and Columbus, Ohio. Historical significance is highlighted by a World War II era card featuring the patriotic interior slogan Buy War Bonds and Stamps. Most items are used with contemporary handwritten signatures and sentiments, representing major American publishers like Hallmark and Norcross. Postal cancellations include 2-cent and 3-cent stamps from the Washington and Presidential series. Various sizes; average card approx. 4 x 5 inches to 5 x 6 inches.
