This lot consists of nineteen vintage accordion-fold souvenir postcard folders featuring printed linen style illustrations of various United States landmarks. Featured locations include Newark, Atlantic City, St. Louis, Tallahassee, Fort Myers, Duluth, Johnstown, Munising, Boulder Dam, and the Ringling Bros. Circus in Sarasota. Published primarily by Curt Teich and Company between 1947 and 1949, these folders showcase the Art-Colortone process popular during the mid-century. Most pieces are postally used and addressed to Suzanne Childs at St. Marys School for the Deaf in Buffalo, New York. This collection serves as a significant archive of American tourism and personal provenance from the late 1940s. Dimensions: 4.25 x 6 inches each.
