
This archival lot features over 30 pieces of early 20th-century social ephemera addressed to the Alleger family of Bartonsville and Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Highlights include two large 3D honeycomb tissue Valentines and a satirical BOY LOST! novelty broadside published by H.J. Wehman of New York, signed by MONKEYSHINE, Sup't of Police and dated March 39th, 1780. The collection contains numerous printed holiday greeting cards and postmarked envelopes from 1925, featuring 2-cent Washington stamps from Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Wilmington, and Orange. A 1925 souvenir folder of El Paso, Texas, and C. Juarez, Mexico, provides a glimpse into period travel and regional tourism. The assortment is rounded out by die-cut decorations and a vintage NuAce mounting corner box, representing a cohesive snapshot of American domestic life in the mid-1920s.
