Four photographs and one souvenir printing of "A Bit of Down to Earth Philosophy", each signed by members of the Skylab crews, representing all crew members on the Skylab 2 project, among others. Includes the following:
1) NASA red number photo "SL2-2-158" featuring Joseph Kerwin and Charles Conrad while in orbit on Skylab. Signed "Charles Conrad" in bold black marker in the lower right. Back caption reads "Skylab crew activities- Dr. Joseph P. Kerwin and Charles Pete Conrad use the 'fireman's pole' for exercise and to traverse in the OWS." Single color photograph printed on Kodak photopaper, 10" x 8", n.p., n.d. Photo exhibits moderate toning, some curling and minor discoloration evident in upper and lower right corners, signature is bold and unaffected.
2) Color NASA portrait photo of Joseph Kerwin, signed as "Joe Kerwin" in fine point black marker to the right of his face, captioned "Astronaut Joseph P. Kerwin". Verso shows NASA logo and the number "JSCL-256". Single color photo, 8" x 10", n.p., n.d. Excellent condition.
3) Official NASA black and white photo signed "To John Sokol Paul Weitz" in fine point black marker by the pilot of the Skylab 2 program. The caption on verso reads in part "Skylab Ultra-Violet Stellar Astronomy -- Ultra-violet Stellar Astronomy. A special airlock in the wall of the workshop allows the crew to perform several "outside" experiments. Here, a camera equipped with calcium fluoride transmission optics to pass ultra-violet light is aimed at stars in the Milky Way field." Single black and white photo, 10" x 8", Marshall Space Flight Center, AL, April 19, 1973. Photo shows moderate creasing to corners, else fine.
4) Color photograph of the Skylab 4 crew standing on Earth in front of the the Skylab 4 Saturn 1B space vehicle on Pad B, Launch Complex 39, Kennedy Space Center in Florida during preflight activity. Signed "Ed Gibson" and "Bill Pogue" over each of those crew member's images and inscribed "To Alan - Happy landings!". Single color photograph, 8" x 10", n.p., n.d. Excellent condition.
5) Souvenir printing of "A Bit of Down to Earth Philosophy for the Daily Orbit" by Edgar A. Guest signed "Jack Lousma" in blue ink in the lower left. 1p, 8.5" x 11", n.p., n.d. Excellent condition.
