A well-made English brass oil lamp by Hinks, dating from the early 20th century.
The lamp has a classical design with a reeded column and gadrooned ornamentation to both the reservoir and base.
The foot is stamped HINKS, and the original burner and filler cap are still present.
The underside retains its original fixing nut.
Nicely proportioned, of good weight, and well constructed in solid brass.
