Ted Kennedy autographed typed letter dated January 20, 1970, on United States Senate letterhead, addressed to Evelyn Lincoln, President John F. Kennedy’s longtime personal secretary. In this warm note, Senator Kennedy thanks Lincoln for remembering his inquiry regarding the dictaphone tapes, expressing appreciation for the information she provided:
“Thanks very much for remembering my inquiry about the dictaphone tapes. I am glad to know where they are, and it was thoughtful of you to send this information along to me.”
Boldly signed “Ted” in black ink.
