This rare artifact originates from Ruby’s Sovereign Club at 1312½ Commerce Street in Dallas—a venue he operated before renaming it the Carousel Club. Ruby (1911–1967), a Dallas nightclub owner with deep ties to local law enforcement and the city’s entertainment underworld, became infamous for killing Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963, just two days after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Items personally connected to Ruby, especially from his clubs, remain highly sought-after links to one of the most pivotal moments in American history.
