Kim Athas autographed First Day Cover honoring John F. Kennedy, signed prominently in blue ink across the right panel. The cover features a JFK memorial cachet reading “Fighter for World Peace,” franked with the 5¢ John F. Kennedy memorial stamp and postmarked Cambridge, Massachusetts, May 29, 1964.

Kim Athas was a Dallas nightclub dancer and associate of Jack Ruby, appearing within Ruby’s social and nightclub circle during the early 1960s. Like other dancers connected to Ruby’s Carousel Club, Athas was part of the close-knit group of women whose names emerged repeatedly in the wake of the assassination as investigators sought to reconstruct Ruby’s movements, contacts, and personal relationships.
