Frank Sturgis original three-page handwritten manuscript in pencil, written on separate half sheets of recycled printed pages, and signed by Sturgis multiple times using his legal name, Frank A. Fiorini. The manuscript consists of narrative notes and chronological assertions spanning the late 1950s through the early 1960s, presenting Sturgis’s personal account of anti-Castro activity, intelligence involvement, and Cold War–era geopolitical events centered on Cuba.
Across the manuscript, Sturgis recounts travel with Marcos Díaz Lanz to Guatemala to meet with the country’s president, stating that during this period he was informed by intelligence contacts that they were under KGB and Cuban intelligence surveillance, and that protective measures were taken until their return to the United States. He describes the Cuban leadership viewing him as a threat and notes seeing himself on television while abroad, underscoring the public exposure of his activities.
Sturgis outlines air and boat operations conducted between 1959 and 1962, asserting involvement in as many as 176 operations, sometimes conducted with the CIA and at other times against CIA orders. He references an October 21, 1959 air raid over Havana and Pedro, claiming that leaflets were dropped and that casualties resulted. He further writes of multiple attempts to kill Fidel Castro, stating that the CIA refused authorization and that he proceeded independently, including activity in Havana in 1959 and continued efforts into 1960.
The manuscript also contains Sturgis’s most explicit claims regarding the assassination of John F. Kennedy, stating that he would prove the KGB was involved, acting in conjunction with Cuban intelligence, dated 1963. He references appearances before a Senate committee in Washington, D.C., accusations against the Castro government, and asserts that KGB and Cuban intelligence agents attempted to kill him. He further notes later being accused by the FBI of placing a bomb at the Cuban Embassy, framing this as part of a broader pattern of retaliation and intelligence conflict surrounding his activities.
Fine condition overall, with expected handling wear, light edge wear, and folds consistent with working manuscript pages.
Frank Sturgis (1924–1993) was a former CIA operative and anti-Castro paramilitary who became infamous as one of the five Watergate burglars arrested in 1972 at the Democratic National Committee headquarters. Beyond Watergate, Sturgis has long been a subject of JFK assassination conspiracy theories due to his intelligence connections and murky activities in Cuba. Some theorists, including New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison, suspected him of involvement or knowledge relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. Though no official evidence ever linked him directly to the crime, his association with key figures and covert operations has kept his name prominent in speculative accounts of the event.
An extraordinary three-page handwritten manuscript presenting Frank Sturgis’s first-person claims regarding Cuban intelligence, the KGB, CIA operations, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy!
