John F. Kennedy pair of vintage glossy photographs, each measuring approximately 8.125 x 5 inches, capturing the presidential motorcade in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963, moments before the assassination. Both images show President Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy seated in the open limousine as crowds line the street, offering a stark and historically significant view of the President’s final public appearance.
Near fine condition.
Provenance: These photographs originate from the estate of Sgt. Wilson Warren, Dallas Police Department. Following the assassination, the Dallas Police Department requested that members of the public submit any candid photographs taken along the motorcade route. Select images were enlarged by the police photo lab, and some officers retained examples. This pair comes directly from Sgt. Warren’s collection; he was the desk officer who booked Lee Harvey Oswald. The photographs were originally acquired when Warren’s estate was sold in Hutchins, Texas, in the late 1990s and are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Reel George Productions, detailing their origin and history.
