Jean Hill (1931–2000) was one of the closest and most photographed eyewitnesses to the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Often referred to as the “Lady in Red” due to her distinctive red coat, Hill was positioned near the motorcade in Dealey Plaza and was captured in several well-known photographs taken at the moment of the shooting. She later became an outspoken figure in assassination research, challenging elements of the official narrative and publishing her account in “The Last Dissenting Witness.”
