John F. Kennedy autographed typed letter (ALS), dated July 10, 1952, on official Congressional stationery, thanking a supporter for submitting nomination papers. The one-page letter is written during Kennedy’s tenure as a U.S. Representative from Massachusetts and reflects his active engagement in early campaign and constituent matters as he was consolidating political support ahead of his rise to national prominence.
The letter measures approximately 6.25 x 9 inches and is typed on stationery headed “Congress of the United States, House of Representatives, Washington, D.C.” The content specifically acknowledges receipt of “nomination papers,” offering insight into Kennedy’s grassroots political operations in the early 1950s.
